Trago Mills Leisure Park is situated at Trago Mills Regional Shopping Centre, Newton Abbot, and covers over 100 acres (0.40 km2). It was opened shortly after the construction of the permanent store buildings, and has continued to grow since then. It is home to a wide selection of rides, most notably the Bickington Steam Railway.
The Bickington Steam Railway is a 10ΒΌ" inch gauge railway runs from the centre of the Leisure Park to the front car park, loops round three lakes, then returns to the 'Leisure Central' station.
The leisure park is also home to The Trago Mills Model Railway. Constructed in a purpose built building it is believed to be one of, if not the largest model railways in the country. The layout is controlled by an analogue block system utilizing 3 - 4 control units per loop, dependent on sections, and one control unit per shuttle. When running at full capacity the layout can support thirty trains running completely independent of human control.
Also situated at the leisure park is The Den, an animal park which is home to a large collection of animals. Ponies, Pigs, Parrots, Rabbits and many other animals, all of which are free to see.
